Tae Kwon-Do training is very individualized and each student progresses at their own pace. For each rank, there are specific techniques they need to master and specific patterns they need to be able to perform. In class, there is a range of ages and abilities and each student Is individually challenged to meet their potential. Higher ranking students learn leadership by leading different aspects of class and are asked to perform harder drills. In class you will work on balance, focus, self-awareness, core strength, spatial awareness and discipline.
The children in the Tae kwon-Do program learn respect while improving focus and attention. The class is taught by certified black belt, Lisa Hanson. Lisa has been instructing Tae Kwon-Do for 13 years. The program instructs students in the art of Tae kwon-Do which: builds character, instills respect, improves focus and attention, teaches self-control, and encourages success through personal achievement.
We offer two classes which are held at Soule Gym. The first class is for girls and boys grades K-3, the second class is for girls and boys grades 4-8. Tae Kwon-Do uniforms with belts are available to purchase separately for $25.
